About the Author
Lee Wright is a fat, surly, bald man who teaches high school and loves to write.
He lives near Chattanooga, Tennessee with his beautiful, not-at-all surly wife and his cute-as-a-button, smart-as-a-whip, and incredibly talented son, who is only surly on occasion. They have dogs and cats, all of which he likes better than he likes most people.
Prior to teaching, he worked for over twenty-five years in the advertising, marketing, and video production industry. He still likes to dabble in it a bit.
His first novel, Quick and the Kid, a pulp style western, will be released by World Castle Publishing in late 2024.
Over the last three decades, he has placed many short stories in magazines, journals, and online.
In 2008, he won first place in the Chattanooga Theatre Centre’s annual Festival of New Plays contest with Haint Blue, a dark comedy for adults.
He has written a few other novels and is currently looking for an agent or a publisher.
